Weekends are just not long enough to squeeze in everything we want to do lately!
Saturday was my Great Nephew JD's 1st birthday and also his party. Naturally we went and it was so much fun! He dug into that little cake and made a huge mess. Nathan just stared at his when he turned 1. They grow too fast!
Saturday was also free fishing day in Tennessee. We went with my Sister and her crew and my Niece Julie. Ben had to work Friday & Saturday night both. We hate doing things without him but he said he would rather us do that than miss out on things. So we went.
Sunday we pretty much swam all day! Ben's parents got us all a membership to a local pool. We surprised Nathan with it over the weekend and he was very excited! Between the UV swim shirt and the Ocean Potion sunscreen he never even got pink and we were in the water more than we were out on Sunday! Nathan learned to swim last year but I wasn't sure how he would do the first time this year. He took to the water like a fish! He is a very good swimmer for 5 years old!
